Finding Ground: My Return to Soapmaking

Hey everyone,

Life update from my corner of the world: it's been a wild ride recently. Between the financial challenges from setting up our new workshop and dealing with the legal maze of trademarking our business name, let’s just say my planner is bursting at the seams. Oh, and there's been a slight dip in sales, just to keep things spicy.

But you know what? Despite the hustle and the occasional head-scratching, I've been staying optimistic. Why? Because in the midst of this whirlwind, I've found comfort in the simple art of soapmaking. It's where all this began for me, after all.

It's funny how something as straightforward as mixing oils and fragrances can bring so much clarity. Every time I return to my soapmaking roots, I’m reminded of my early days – the excitement, the passion, and the genuine joy of creating something from scratch.

So while the business side of things sometimes feels like a roller coaster, soapmaking has been my stable ground. It's a little slice of peace in the chaos, a reminder of why I started this journey in the first place.

If you’re navigating your own challenges, whether in business or life, I’d recommend finding your 'soapmaking.' That thing that takes you back to basics and reminds you of your core passion. Trust me, it's a game-changer.

Alright, enough rambling from me. Time to get back to it. But I promise to keep you in the loop – ups, downs, and everything in between.

Stay grounded,
Paulette
